Since Viscose is cellulosic based it is breathable, comfortable to wear, and easily dyed in vivid colors. It does not build up static electricity which adds to its comfort and ability to drape beautifully.
A Georgette (GGT) fabric is light and sheer with a crepe surface. Crepe can be described as a fabric with pebbly or crinkled surface and can be obtained by using crepe (high twist) yarns. Since the fabric has a high twist, the product will not pill.
Viscose Crinkle GGT can be used in a variety of textile woven and knitted applications. Depending on the weight and construction of the cloth, these fabrics may be suitable for shirts, skirts, dresses and more! The aesthetic features of our Viscose Crinkle GGT are truly optimal for dresses. It has a beautiful drape and clings nicely to the figure without static build up. We currently supply this material to Ralph Lauren, AllSaints, Tahari, and many other established read-to-wear brands.
